PHDF has recently launched a campaign for environmental conservation called “Clean and Green Jahanian” by restoring a park and launching a planting effort in collaboration with the government. In the first phase, PHDF plans to plant 5000 trees in various sections of Tehsil Jahanian, District Khanewal, in order to raise awareness about the significance of environmental conservation. Initially PHDF intends to replicate the idea of Urban Forestation in Jahanian city and to expand it to other parts of the country at large in order to make the environment healthy and save it from further destruction. The general awareness to the masses in this respect will be a vital part of the campaign to make every individual sensitive and responsible towards the issue without which we cannot ensure environmental protection.
